The hype is real. I first heard of this place through the Th3rdwave Awards, since it's hard to keep track of all the Montréal coffee shops. Took me some time to get to it, but I did. The place itself must have been quite neat prior to the pandemic. The front counter still keeps the retro vibe, however. Got the 60's TV, vintage vinyls actually being played, some spirits at the bar as well. The only scotch available is actually one of my personal favorites - Laphroaig Quarter Cask. But hey, let's get back to coffee. The cappuccino I had is exactly what you would the Th3rdwave expect to taste like. Smooth and flavourful. The barista uses a smaller version of Marzocco and the recently emerging to prominence local milk - Henrietta. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I'm sure that other locations are just as good.
