Yellow Bourbon

Minas Gerais is a state in Southeastern Brazil who's total land area is larger than Metropolitan France. It is the main coffee growing region of the country, producing about 74% of the national total.

This coffee is sourced from Fazenda Samambaia, a large family estate in Sul de Minas, Minas Gerais. Headed by Henrique Dias Cambraia, this private estate has been in the Cambraia family since 1896. While many coffee farms in other countries measure less than 10 hectares in total land area, Fazenda Samambaia comes in at a staggering 620 hectares. The size allows them to employ many different picking & processing methods, as well as allocate space for experimentation & innovation. Moreover, the farm has received many accolades from the Cup of Excellence competitions in the past 20 years.

All coffees produced at Fazenda Samambaia are Rainforest Alliance and UTZ certified.

The resulting cup reminds us of cacao, toffee and stone fruit.

Yes, yes, yes! I cannot get enough of this roast! I don’t know what it is, but add in a bit of steamed oat milk and it’s a luxurious drink!
