Les Audacieuses

Les Audacieuses is an unconventional blend in the sense that it is sourced entirely from women producers in Bolivia.

This coffee comes from the farms of Carmela Uduviri and Juana Gonzales in Copacabana, Bolivia. Both have neighbouring farms and help each other year-round. Their lots were mixed together and processed using steel tanks to create an anaerobic environment. This greatly increases the sugar content of the beans through fermentation. They were then fully washed to balance out the taste.

The result is a coffee with notes of orange, praline and cocoa.

Day 2 of the holiday box - A bit strange here because Th3rwave indicates it's Bolivian coffee but on the 94° Celcius site, they indicate this is a Mexico x Brazil blend... A few times there discrepancies between this app and the Roasters website. Anyway, Bolivian coffees are known for their milky texture, bright acidity, and caramel notes. This one has that cookies and cream, orange brightness, and caramel notes. A lot lighter roasted than I thought it would be, though. This is more on the medium roast.
