Les Audacieuses

Les Audacieuses is an unconventional blend in the sense that it is sourced entirely from women producers in Bolivia.

This coffee comes from the farms of Carmela Uduviri and Juana Gonzales in Copacabana, Bolivia. Both have neighbouring farms and help each other year-round. Their lots were mixed together and processed using steel tanks to create an anaerobic environment. This greatly increases the sugar content of the beans through fermentation. They were then fully washed to balance out the taste.

The result is a coffee with notes of orange, praline and cocoa.

Moka pot
The smell that came out of the bag when I first opened it was magical, same with every cup brewed. Coffee taste pretty good, with notes of Chocolate and Nuts. One thing though, the Agrume after taste is a tad too strong for me.

Day 2 of the holiday box - Bolivian coffees are known for their milky texture, bright acidity, and caramel notes. This one doesn't disappoint with cookies and cream, orange brightness, and caramel notes. A lot lighter roasted than I thought it would be, though. This is more on the medium roast, medium light.
