Django Jazz

Django Reinhardt, recognized as a trailblazing jazz musician and guitarist, left an indelible mark on music history by redefining sound and creating some of the most memorable tunes in the jazz genre. His partnership with violinist Stéphane Grappelli gave birth to the innovative Quintette du Hot Club de France in 1934, pioneering a new era where the guitar took the lead role in jazz performances.

In a pivotal moment in 1928, Django narrowly escaped a tragic fire that severely injured his left fretting hand, resulting in his pinky finger being fused to the adjacent one, permanently altering the dexterity of his hand. This physical challenge compelled Django to explore unconventional methods of fretting chords, pushing the boundaries of traditional guitar playing. The impact of his disability on his musical journey cannot be understated; it forced him to develop a distinctive style that was characterized by his unique perspective and adaptive approach. This adversity ultimately became a driving force behind the evolution of his musical identity.

Similarly, like the inventive nature of Django's music, the 40-hour natural anaerobic coffee, cultivated by a small cooperative of nine dedicated farmers, promises an exhilarating yet comforting coffee experience.

This coffee variety stands out for its delightful and unusual flavors, with hints of sweetness and a touch of "funkiness," typical of natural anaerobic coffees. Perfect for both coffee enthusiasts seeking to explore new flavors and those looking for a daily brew with a twist, this coffee undergoes a meticulous process where cherries are carefully sealed in oxygen-depleted barrels for up to 40 hours, allowing the flavors to develop into something truly magical and unique.

Essayé exclusivement en aeropress lors d’un périple de camping. Excellent café, doux avec une finale de fudge qui reste longtemps. Je rachèterais sans hesitation!

Uh... WOW! Fruity and light. Easily brewed to perfection. It was in my first bag from 3rd Wave and the more I think about it, the more I loved it. Gotta start taking notes...
