very traditional kind of washed coffee. Extremely consistent, no fuss. 700 microns, 20g in, 330mL out, 90C, 4:6 method with 4 pours in total. 2x bloom: 50ml till 00:30-40 then 70 ml till 1:10-20, 1 or 2 even pours for remaining volume. Regular circular/spiral pours. Used both the Cafec abacas and the T90s, both good.

This was a solid brew. A pleasure to work with - very predictable and consistent. My daily is espresso but I also tried it as pour over as well. The espresso format won in terms of the coffees ability to express itself. It’s got a sweet cherry finish and solid chocolatey body. It’s not an uncommon flavour profile but what’s different is the clarity in the cup. Overall a great cup of coffee.
