Based in Montreal, Monkland is an independent coffee roaster founded by Daniel Léger and Alan Weeks. The idea of coffee and roasting started in the college years of Daniel. At this point, he was roasting in his parents' oven. Monkland Coffee Roasters officially started in 2019. Since then, they have been roasting out of the Canadian Roasting Society, a unique roasting coop located in Montreal.
