Based in Gatineau, BBCR.ca is an independent coffee roaster that works passionately to make specialty coffee accessible to everyone. Founded by Shann (pronounced Shawn) in December 2016 after having roasted coffee in his home for years, he is joined by head roaster Christiaan two years later. In addition, Brown Bag was named Roaster of the Year in Ottawa-Gatineau at the 2020 Th3rdwave Awards.
