The Sidamo region, in southern Ethiopia, is one of only three coffee-growing areas in the country with a protected designation of origin. Located between 1,550 and 2,200 meters above sea level, Sidamo benefits from an ideal climate, fertile soils, and a wide range of microclimates.
This natural wealth gives rise to coffees of remarkable complexity. Traditional farming practices are used, organically by default, and the cherries are handpicked before being meticulously dried on raised beds.
