This coffee comes straight from the mountainous Mantiqueira region of Brazil. Thanks to its coffee-friendly microclimate, Mantiqueira is renowned for producing some of the country’s finest beans. Valdemir’s family has owned the farm for several generations, and today, the whole family is involved: his wife manages the drying processes, while their two children oversee the harvest and care for the precious coffee trees. With a plantation of only 4 hectares, the São João farm produces just 120 bags of coffee per year! We are lucky that a few of those bags made it to our roastery. Roasted slightly darker for a more classic espresso profile, this coffee features notes of cocoa butter and roasted peanuts. Round and flavorful, it is equally delicious as a short espresso or in a large latte!
