Not So Dark Roast

When you open up this bag don’t expect to find any black & oily beans, we’re just not that cruel to our coffee. To create this roast, we source coffees from quality producers, then roast these coffees just past the point of full development, before second crack. The result is a coffee that retains its sweetness and character but also has a deep chocolate body, muted acidity and a touch of smokiness. This coffee works well for stovetop espresso and also as a filter/ drip coffee.
