Las Moras

Grown at high elevations between 1,700 and 1,900 MASL in the renowned region of Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, Las Moras is a specialty Arabica blend featuring Caturra, Yellow Bourbon, and Colombia varietals. Sourced from Lohas Beans' High Cup Score range, this lot undergoes a targeted 24-hour oxidation phase prior to pulping and precise mechanical drying, boosting fruitiness and depth while capturing Huila's iconic volcanic terroir.

Roasted in small batches by Shelby Merrithew in Toronto on a Loring Skyhawk, this versatile release performs effortlessly across multiple brewing methods. As a filter coffee, it presents a bright, clean cup with distinct notes of ripe strawberry, pomelo, and candied lemon. When pulled as espresso, those bright fruit flavors condense into a rich, syrupy shot with outstanding balance.
