Boquete

Boquete is a small mountain town located in Chiriquí, the western-most province of Panama. The region is known for its rich volcanic soil as a result of its proximity to the Barú volcano, the tallest mountain in the country.

This coffee is sourced from Casa Ruiz, a family-owned farm located in Boquete. Plinio Ruiz, the current co-owner and manager, is part of the third generation of coffee growers in the region.

The washed process gives a peach and tropical fruit flavor to this coffee. It also has a velvety mouthfeel with floral and caramel aftertaste. The acidity is subtle.
