Wow @krimpercafe what a beautiful location. The place has had several uses before. A sawmill, a cabinetmaker, and even an art gallery. An original elevator cabin in the middle of the square can be used for an meeting or for privacy. The table tops were made from an old staircase. Certain pulleys and anchors demonstrate the history of the place. Origin of the name? The owner greatly admires the furniture manufacturer, “Schulman Krimper”. A long sideboard plays an integral part of the cafe. I didn't have a very representative photo of the sideboard, except it’s top displaying magazines. The last one photo is taken from the @krimpercafe website itself to give you an overview of its stature.
