Thor Espresso Bar is a mighty café downtown, close to STACKT Market.
This café - whose sister location is Odin Espresso Bar (I recommend it!) - makes smooth caffeinated drinks and a slew of quick bites.
Among their food offerings, there are always vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options.
I really enjoy coming to Thor with friends, as the café is perfect for socializing. It’s also good for reading or journaling, but I wouldn’t recommend it for doing work. The tables are low, and there are many magazine and books throughout.
Make sure to take note of the fabulous mural of the cafe’s namesake on the wall! It really adds a pop of colour to the otherwise minimalist (yet cool!) space.
