Nueva Armenia - Cicilar
The twin brothers Jorge and Javier Recinos Leonardo are in charge of the operation of the farm. Having both completed studies in environmental engineering, they are dedicated to the preservation of the environment, biodiversity being at the heart of the farm's operating values. Since 1996, the farm has been operated and managed according to organic standards and has been certified to do so. In order to preserve the local flora and fauna, the farm is only cleaned with machetes and hoes. The farm also holds a Bird Friendly certification from the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center.
The cafes of the farm are grown between 1200 and 1500 meters above sea level and include several varieties. This year we chose 4 microlots. This lot of red Borubon is called Cicilar.
