This micro-lot Geisha/Typica hybrid varietal, called Typica Mejorado, was grown in beautiful Alajuela, Central Valley in Costa Rica. Producer Don Fabio is an agronomist dedicated to perpetually improving his farm’s coffee production across the entire process. This specific lot is a white honey process which leaves a small amount of the fruit or “honey” on during fermentation. The result showcases the Central Valley’s depth and sweetness but with the delicate complexity of a geisha. In the cup the coffee is clean, sweet and elegant with floral aromatics and delicate notes of hibiscus, honey and white peach.
