The Guji zone is a southern region of Ethiopia famous for its fruit-forward coffees. The ample rainfall and steep mountainous terrain create ideal growing conditions for the vast array of producers in the region.
This coffee is sourced from the Arsosala Washing Station in Uraga region of Guji. Founded in 2015, about 1200 smallholder producers bring their crops to it for processing. The coffee is sorted and processed into lots without retaining information about whose coffee harvest is in which bag or which lot.
The washed process gives Fuzzy Peach candy, lemon and apricot flavours to this coffee.
